# Funding

> Information about Blockscout funding sources, grants, and opportunities for support.

Blockscout [raised their first seed round](https://www.blog.blockscout.com/blockscout-raises-3m-seed-round-led-by-1kx/) in 2024 to help bring open-source exploration to more blockchain users.

We would like to thank projects, individuals, and agencies who have helped support Blockscout open-source explorer growth either through direct giving or grants to support instances.

We are open to additional grant opportunities and [welcome queries](https://discord.gg/XmNatGKbPS) from projects in need of a new open-source explorer instance or maintenance of their current instances.
